Your continuous improvement program has not developed as you had planned. You notice that there are a couple of faculty members who have attitudes and behaviors that are not only negative but seem to affect the whole team. However, you’re not sure how to handle them. We will address this frequent situation by describing common issues that often hinder the effectiveness of program evaluation. We will discuss in detail each of the “pratfalls” that have been cataloged so far, pointing out their symptoms and possible solutions. Finally, we will describe a program framework to avoid these errors.
