Quality of Assessment—Should Administrators Care?

College administrators have many demands for their attention and resources. What does an administrator need to know about program assessment to be an effective leader in matters of quality improvement and accreditation? This session will outline what administrators need to know and how they can support academic programs in the assessment of student learning. Topics will include alignment with strategic planning, evolving a culture of inquiry through assessment, setting expectations of meaningful results, and rewarding quality.
