Allen Gorman is associate professor and chair of the Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business and Technology at East Tennessee State University, where he teaches classes in Strategic Leadership and Human Resource Management. His research interests fall within four broad domains: 1) job performance, 2) leadership, 3) training and development, and 4) individual differences in work behavior. His work has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, the Journal of Vocational Behavior, and the Journal of Business and Psychology. Gorman also consults regularly with public and private organizations in the areas of leadership development, employee selection and performance management.
