Dennis Depew

Dean, East Tennessee State University

Dr. Dennis Depew earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East Tennessee State University and a Doctor of Philosophy from Purdue University. He currently serves as Dean of the College of Business and Technology at ETSU.

He also served as Dean of the College of Technology at Purdue University from 2002-2011 and as Dean of the College of Applied Sciences at Western Carolina University from 1999-2002.

Dr. Depew is a senior member of the American Society for Quality, ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education) and Epsilon Pi Tau Honorary Society. He is also an active member of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). He is a board member of the Angel Roundtable (ART) and Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.
