Francisco Rumiche, Ph.D., is a professor of materials science and engineering in the Engineering Department at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). He is the head of the Materials Technology Area at the Mechanical Engineering Section and the director of the Center for Characterization of Materials (CAMPUCP). He holds the degrees of doctor of philosophy and master of science in materials engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the degree of bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, from PUCP.
