Frank Young

Executive Committee Chair

Frank Young retired from Rose-Hulman Institute after 15 years as Head of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. He has been active in ABET as a member of CAC and ETAC. He presently serves on the ETAC Executive Committee and chairs the ETAC Documents Committee. He has served as an EAC Software Engineering PEV since 2002, the first year software engineering programs were accredited. He was a member of the ABET ad hoc harmonization committee. He has been a PEV or Team Chair for more than 50 accreditation visits over the last 20+ years. He is a Fellow of CSAB and received the SIGCSE Award for Lifetime Service to the Computer Science Education Community in 2015.
