Data Scientist, Verizon
Riley Nastase is a Data Scientist for Verizon and is part of a predictive/prescriptive analytics team dedicated to the development of machine learning projects and models to help drive increased performance and reliability across Global Network and Technology. He is also very involved in building familiarity with accessible data-based tools and methodologies among other groups and teams. He started his career at the company through the internship program, helping to provide a more statistics-focused mindset to an engineering group responsible for various analytics/reporting tasks.
Nastase received his degree in Mathematics from UMBC in Baltimore.
