Principal Engineering Geologist, Wood Group
Jeffrey Keaton is a principal in the Los Angeles office of Wood, a global engineering services company with offices in 60 countries. He has been applying geological sciences in engineering to a wide variety of infrastructure projects for over 40 years. His affiliation with ABET began in the 1990s as a PEV for geological engineering programs. He became a member of the EAC in 2006 and a member of its Executive Committee in 2011. Currently, he serves as chair of the EAC. He has a B.S. in geological engineering from University of Arizona, a M.S. in geotechnical engineering from UCLA, and a Ph.D. in geology from Texas A&M.
