Jeffrey Ray, Ph.D., is Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology at Western Carolina University (WCU) and Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Ray is a Fellow of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE). Prior to joining WCU, Ray was Dean of the School of Engineering Technology and Management and Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU), now Kennesaw State University, in Marietta, Georgia.
Ray serves as Chair of ABET’s Academic Advisory Council. He has led ABET accreditation and assessment activities for both EAC and ETAC reviews at three separate institutions in the Midwest and Southeast regions.
