Kenneth Ball is the dean of the Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University. Prior to joining Mason in 2012, he was L. S. Randolph Professor and head of the department of mechanical engineering at Virginia Tech since 2004. He was previously the Temple Foundation Endowed Faculty Fellow in Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.
