Khaled is an ABET CAC Program Evaluator. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York, 1999, his ME and BE in Electrical Engineering from the City College of the City University of New York, 1993 and 1991 respectively. Since September 2002, Khaled has been with the College of Information Technology (CIT), at the UAE University where he is currently a Professor and Acting Dean. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of IoT, Information Security, Communication Networks and Smart Grid. Khaled has over 100 publications in journals and conference proceedings and three US patents. Prior to joining the UAE University, Khaled worked for GTE Labs, Waltham, MA, 1997-1999, as Senior Member of Technical Staff and for Lucent Technologies, Westford, MA, 1999-2002, as a Principal Performance Engineer.
Successful outcomes of an ABET-guided program are usually displayed through the skills and knowledge acquired by students graduating from that program.
