Michael Rabl

Head of Studies

Michael Rabl is Professor for Sensor Technology and Mechatronics and head of the degree programs Innovation Engineering and Management (BA) and Innovation and Product Management (international MA) at the UASUA. He also acts as an independent expert for the European Commission for Research and Technological Development. As a senior researcher he was part of an international research group at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University Erlangen, Germany in 2000 and his MBA in Innovation and Business Creation from Technische Universtity Munchen, Germany in 2013. From 1999 to 2002 he worked as an R&D engineer and later as a product manager for Siemens AG in Munich. His current research interests are in the fields of mechatronics, innovation management and the development of international study programmes.
