Tom Hall is Professor Emeritus, Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where he taught Electronics Engineering Technology from 1995 until 2010. He retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army having served for 26 years. As department head, he was responsible for the initial accreditation of the Electronics Engineering Technology program and the creation of Louisiana’s first Industrial Engineering Technology program.
Hall is a Fellow of the American Society for Engineering Education and a Life Senior Member of IEEE. He has worked with ABET since 2002, including time as a PEV for IEEE and as a commissioner of ETAC. He currently serves as Chair of ETAC.
