Cyber Security Engineering Manager, Collins Aerospace
Van Thai joined Collins Aerospace in 2017 and progressively moved into the Cybersecurity Engineering Manager for the Information Management Services where he provides cybersecurity engineering leadership to the Surface Transportation and Critical Infrastructure business unit. Before coming to Collins Aerospace, Van served as the director of information technology and software engineering for Praxis Inc., a prime defense contractor to the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington D.C. While at Praxis, Van worked directly with NRL senior leadership and was responsible for guiding cybersecurity strategy, operations and policies. He is a proven cybersecurity leader with over 16 years of executive, technical, and operational experience. Van is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and has earned both his M.Sc. in information assurance and B.Sc. in information system management from University of Maryland University College.
