Rhonda Young is a professor and chair of Civil Engineering at Gonzaga University. She has been in academics since 2002 as a faculty member in Civil Engineering at the University of Wyoming before starting at Gonzaga University in 2015. She is an active researcher in the areas of intelligent transportation and connected vehicle technology. Rhonda has been involved in accreditation and program assessment at the University of Wyoming and Gonzaga University. She is a registered professional engineer in the states of Washington and Wyoming.
