Along with informative sessions on program assessment, accreditation, credentialing and top issues in higher education, the ABET Symposium offers a variety of workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Symposium attendees will also have access to our Self-Study Resource Room, featuring ABET’s library of real Self-Study Reports. This quiet research space allows attendees to review actual reports submitted by a variety of accredited programs.

This space will be an ongoing staple at our event, providing a peaceful retreat for all. Whether you want to enjoy a good book, take a mindful break or simply step away from the buzz of the event, this peaceful retreat is here for you.
Browse our selection of donated books, settle into a cozy chair or mat and take a deep breath — this space was created with your well-being in mind.

What to Know Before You Go
What to Pack
All of our sessions will conveniently be held inside the Raleigh Convention Center. The attire for the Symposium is business casual. It might be a good idea to layer as temperatures within the convention center can fluctuate from room to room. We recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to stay comfortable.
