ABET has secured discounted guest room rates at (3) hotels located next to the Raleigh Convention Center, the host venue for ABET Symposium 2026. If you need a hotel room Saturday evening (4/18), it would be best to book at the Sheraton or Residence Inn.

Early Departure Fees: Each hotel may charge attendees the group rate as compensation for unscheduled early departures. An Early Departure Fee may only be charged if an attendee checks out of the Hotel prior to the attendee’s scheduled departure date, without having notified the Hotel at check-in of the change in scheduled departure.

Driving Directions
Exit the airport and get on I-40 E from Aviation Parkway for approximately 2.1 miles. Follow I40 E to US-401 N/US-70 W/S Saunders St in Raleigh for approximately 13.6 miles. Take exit 298B from I-40 E. Continue on US-401 N/US-70 W for approximately 1.8 miles to the Raleigh Convention Center. The drive typically takes 30-35 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

What to Pack
All of our sessions will conveniently be held inside the Raleigh Convention Center. The attire for the Symposium is business casual. It might be a good idea to layer as temperatures within the convention center can fluctuate from room to room. We recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to stay comfortable.
