What to Pack
All of our sessions will conveniently be held inside the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The attire for the Symposium is business casual. Please note that the weather in San Diego is expected to be a bit cooler during the event. It might be a good idea to layer as temperatures within the hotel can fluctuate from room to room. Since some of our meal events have seating outdoors on the Terrace, we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to stay comfortable.

As we continue to promote and produce sustainable events, we invite you to get familiar with the sessions and speakers in advance by downloading “Eventsential” from the App Store or Google Play. The app is the only place you will be able to find event-related information such as session name, time and location. The links below are to the app stores for each operating system. When the app is launched, you will receive an invitation email with links to access the ABET Symposium platform. The invitation email will go to the email you used to register for Symposium. If you have multiple emails, please make sure you are using the correct email to access the platform.

Within the mobile app, the navigation icons at the bottom of your screen will guide you through all the session descriptions, speaker details and much more. We encourage you to update your profile by clicking your name (found in the “more” icon) and select profile information. From there, you can edit or update your profile by uploading a picture and adding your bio. Once you have completed your profile, you are ready to explore the event. Simply click the schedule icon to view session descriptions where you can filter your search by date, track or both. You can also view and search speakers and direct message other attendees to ask questions and network.

Stop by the ABET registration desk located at the Indigo Light Wall on the 2nd Level.

Wednesday, April 2 – 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday, April 3 – 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Friday, April 4 – 6:30 a.m. – Noon
Saturday, April 5 – 8 – 10 a.m.

Vehicle rental services are available at San Diego International Airport.
Driving Directions
Exit the airport and follow the signs for North Harbor Drive. Continue on North Harbor Drive for about 2.5 miles, keeping the San Diego Bay on your right. Turn left onto West Market Street and follow it for approximately 0.6 miles. Then, turn right onto Front Street and take an immediate left onto East Harbor Drive. Continue on Harbor Drive for about 0.7 miles. The Hilton San Diego Bayfront will be on your right, located at 1 Park Boulevard. The drive typically takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Hotel Parking
The cost for self-parking at the hotel is $45. Valet parking is $60.
